Everything is new in September!

We are happy to report that we have been very busy over the summer, and we have some things to present to you. Most importantly, we have been working hard on the part that is visible to your token holders / virtual shareholders. And all with the goal of making their view clearer and more vivid, and for them to understand what a great community they are a part of.

At the same time, we want to give you more possibilities and flexibility to create your own virtual environment at KOOS, as well as provide a tool for more communication with your community. In this context, from now on we will give you the opportunity to add information about your company and brand to our platform, add different ways to earn tokens/virtual shares, etc (see below). In addition, we have developed the KOOS app for token holders / virtual shareholders (which will soon be downloadable from both the App Store and Google Play, we will announce this separately).

Below is a list of the new elements and features. We are also waiting for your input to jointly design an environment you like, and we invite you to test new features and give us feedback. This way, together we can contribute to your success!

The view of token holders / virtual shareholders will change as early as 05/09/2023. In order for your company's virtual environment to have your face and style, we have already taken the first steps and now invite you to discover and continue.

New elements and functionalities

The main visual or image of the company

It is no longer an image of the program, but an image that speaks the language of the company's brand which should be familiar to your customers, partners and contributors. The image is used in the portfolio view and as a header in the detail view.

Check the appearance of your company's image in the new KOOS environment. If you want to change it, you can do so in the Branding subsection.

Image requirements - since the image will be used in various places and formats, it would be good if it does not have a specific focus (e.g. people's faces), as they may be obscured in some views. The .jpg and .png formats are both suitable. The size should be at least 2000x1000px.

Review your company logo in the KOOS environment and let us know if you want to change it. Send us a new logo in .png format (ideally in 1:1 ratio). You can change and update it later in the Branding subsection.

Description of the company

Your opportunity to introduce your company, mission, vision, plans, etc. to your community.

Enter a description of your company (up to a few paragraphs) in the Branding subsection of the Company Description section.

A quote from the company's leader

This is not a mandatory element, but we definitely recommend it if the CEO, founder or advertising face has something inspiring and important to say to your community. You can always change it in the Branding subsection so that the CEO of your company can say something nice to the community even on a daily basis.

The following components are required to add a quote:

  • Position (e.g. KOOS CEO, Founder, etc.)
  • Name (Taavi Kotka)
  • Image (portrait photo)
  • The quote itself

Tokens / virtual shares earning opportunities

Let your community know how they can help you and what they can do to grow your business with you. You can highlight all the activities your existing community members can do for you, along with information on how much more tokens/virtual shares they can earn for one activity or another.

For example, KOOS virtual shares can be earned by doing the following activities:

From now on, you can see who and what is writing to you in the Messages subsection, and you can also reply from there. For the activity mentioned in the message, tokens / virtual shares must be distributed manually, which gives you the opportunity to judge whether the activity was really worthwhile.

NB! If you have predefined reasons in our system, you should know that they have also been moved from the previous Reason Categories to Ways to earn. However, they are not yet visible to your token holders / virtual shareholders and are only available when distributing tokens internally. To make them visible to token holders / virtual shareholders, you need to change the way they are displayed.

Think about the activities for which you need community input and help, and for which you are willing to distribute tokens and virtual shares. We will help you with the initial setup in your environment. In the future, you will be able to update, add and exchange them independently on the KOOS platform in the Ways to earn subsection.

News

Communicate with your community and let them know what you're up to, what progress and challenges you have, where you need help, etc. Adding news is easy and doesn't have to be a long newsletter, but can be a small bite (a la tweet or threaded post) to show that you're there and care about your people. You can also add images to the news.

News is added through the News subsection.

The current community update functionality is still there as well, but we recommend news because of their simplicity and brevity.
